This program is designed to be taken by all TOMSP students on three-year, recurring basis. It is designed to meet the needs of EMT-B and EMT-P refresher requirements, while providing updated information regarding the “tactical context.” |

Realizing that many cross-trained law-enforcement or other protective service personnel do not work regularly in EMS, Tac-Med has set up this recurring program to allow these providers to sustain their EMS credentials for the job. In order to enhance the value of this refresher program to these audiences, most topics will be presented with a “tactical context.”
Providers should return to this program every 2-3 years based on their re-registration / re-certification needs. At each return, the provider completes a full EMT-B or EMT-P refresher. CPR recertification is also included.
Since many of these personnel do not regularly work in EMS, the processes surrounding re-registration / re-certification may be tedious. Tac-Med personnel will assist each student with their re-registration / re-certification documentation as a part of this program.
This program also provides all attendees with a physician-verified EMS skills competency review that will satisfy state and National Registry requirements. |
